But then something happened and I was back to the abbreviated ranges I posted earlier.

Fly I can but invariably I get a bink bonk alert soon after take-off, following which the plane becomes uncontrollable and dives into the ground.įor one brief attempt at assigning buttons and axes in FSUIPC4, I did get axis ranges of +16K to -16K. Mind you, all the calibration settings have the REV box checked. I have managed to get the basic assignments set up for the stock Cessna 172 and can fly it. FSUIPC didn't see the trim wheel until loaded its driver. Only the Saitek trim wheel driver remains. I have removed all hardware drivers from my computer (CH Manager and the TM joystick driver which didn't work under W7 SP2 anyway). My controllers are a Thrustmaster TopGun Afterburner FFB stick, Saitek Cessna Trim wheel, and CH Pro pedals. To that end, I have disabled all my controllers in FSX settings and deleted all axis and button settings for good measure. I am trying to do all my assignments in FSUIPC. Thanks for all the advice. This doesn't feel quite so hopeless now.
